The last drop
There is a saying “It was the last drop”. People use it in many cultures when illustrating the critical moment in their lives. At that specific moment, there is a choice to be made - either to make a change and move towards better, or to give up.
With this piece, I invite the viewer to step back from personal life problems and take a look at global issues such as climate change and water issues. Since humans have such well-developed adaptability, I wonder how big “the last drop” should be and how strong it should be, in order to finally reach the crucial point and make drastic changes in global politics as well as daily life choices. There is a sense of anxiety around the drop over the human figure, leaving an open question - is it going to drown it or not?
